Building designing requires a place to start. 

Requirements for a new home design are:

• Overall size
• Type of design e.g. 2-story colonial, ranch, raised ranch, cape, contemporary, Federal, Anti-bellum, Mansard, Etc.
• Number of bedrooms
• Number of baths
• Size of garage
• Full basement or crawl space
• First floor requirements
• Second floor requirements
• Attic access

Requirements for an addition are:

• Record existing conditions.  A visit to your home to measure the existing structure, take pictures and discuss what you want to do.
• Enter the existing structure data into the CAD program.
• Make a preliminary design of the addition or alteration.
• Have the design approved by you.
• Complete the plans to finished construction documents.

With 57 years of service in residential and light commercial construction, Ken Lynch, brings a depth of experience to designing of new homes, additions, and renovations few others can match.  In the past 31 years Ken has built over 20 high quality homes and several commercial buildings in Fairfield County, Connecticut and has successfully completed hundreds of residential and commercial additions and remodeling projects.   In addition, he has completed several repairs to fire and weather damaged homes. 

Ken is also a Connecticut Building Official dedicated to ensuring his work meets the requirements of the Connecticut Building Code.

Ken knows what it takes to build a house or an addition and he knows what it takes to repair or replace one!
